The EU VAT Number extension lets you collect and validate EU VAT numbers during checkout to identify B2B transactions verses B2C.

IP Addresses can also be validated to ensure they match the billing address. EU businesses with a valid VAT number can have their VAT removed prior to payment. Collect VAT numbers at checkout and remove the VAT charge for eligible EU businesses.

Allow valid EU businesses the choice of paying tax at your store

This extension provides your checkout with a field to collect and validate a customer’s EU VAT number, if they have one. Upon entering a valid VAT number, the business will not be charged VAT at your store. The validation function uses the handy VIES.
