The Connector That Powers Everything

One free WordPress plugin links your sites to Zeebrar: safety-gated installs, one-click rollback, and live site diagnostics.

Why it's different

Remote management is only as good as the plugin doing the work

Every WordPress management tool relies on a plugin installed on your site. That plugin holds privileged access: it can install code, swap versions, and change what runs on your production sites. Most tools treat it as a dumb pipe - it downloads a zip and activates it, whatever happens next is your problem. The GPLC Connector takes the opposite approach.

Every install starts here: credits, compatibility, and version history visible before the connector touches your site.

How it works

From install to full remote control

Step 01

Install the Connector on Your Site

Download the connector from your Zeebrar dashboard and install it like any WordPress plugin. Connect it to your account with a license key - no FTP, no SSH, no server access needed.

Step 02

Safety Gates Check Every Install

Before any plugin touches your site, the connector verifies WordPress and PHP compatibility and confirms the file passed VirusTotal scanning. Files flagged as malicious are blocked outright.

Step 03

Manage Everything Remotely

Install, update, activate, deactivate, and roll back plugins from your Zeebrar dashboard. The connector reports site health back so you always know the state of every connected site.

Benefits

Built for sites you cannot afford to break

Safety Gates Before Every Install

Pre-install compatibility checks against your actual WordPress and PHP versions, plus VirusTotal threat blocking. Incompatible or flagged files never reach your site.

One-Click Version Rollback

A plugin update broke your site? Roll back to any previous version from the dashboard. If an install fails, credits are refunded automatically.

Built-In Site Diagnostics

The connector reports WordPress version, PHP version, sync health, connectivity, and performance telemetry, so you can spot problems across your fleet before clients do.

Actively Developed, Openly Documented

The connector ships regular releases with a public changelog. What changed, when, and why is always visible - no mystery updates on your production sites.

First-Party, Not a Bolt-On

Zeebrar builds and maintains the connector itself. The dashboard, the API, and the plugin are one product designed together, not a third-party integration taped on.

Free on Every Plan

The connector is included with every subscription and works on all your connected sites. There are no per-site fees for remote management.

Full changelog
v1.6.2Latest
  • If adding a plugin to your update list fails, the reason now appears right next to the button instead of as a notice at the top of the page, where it was easy to miss after scrolling down.
  • A large plugin can take longer to install than your host allows a single request to run. The page now tells you the install is still finishing in the background and refreshes itself, instead of leaving an "Installing" button that never wakes up.
  • Clicking Install a second time while the first install is still running no longer freezes the button; the page refreshes once the first install has finished.
v1.6.1
  • Plugins you installed by hand can now join your update list. The Installed page shows the ones your store recognises, and one click links each to its catalog product - nothing is downloaded and no credits are spent.
  • Until now only plugins installed through the connector could receive updates, so a plugin bought in the browser and uploaded by hand stayed on its original version no matter how far behind it fell.
  • When the match is only a close one, you are asked to confirm the catalog name first, so a similarly named product can never quietly replace yours at the next update.
  • An update now always installs into the folder the plugin already occupies, instead of the folder named inside the download. If it cannot, the update stops before touching anything rather than leaving your site without the plugin.
v1.6.0
  • If WordPress reverses an automatic update because it broke your site, your store is now told right away so the credits spent on it are refunded.
  • A version that broke your site is no longer retried every night. It is skipped, with a notice and a "Try again" button for when you want another attempt.
  • The safety check no longer reverses an update just because it could not reach your site. Repeated reversals pause automatic updating and tell you why.
  • Automatic updates now require WordPress 6.6 or newer, the first version that can restore a broken plugin on its own. Older sites are told instead of updating unprotected.

Questions

Common questions

What is the GPLC Connector?
The GPLC Connector is a free WordPress plugin built by Zeebrar. It links your WordPress sites to your Zeebrar account so you can install, update, activate, and roll back plugins remotely from one dashboard. It also reports site health telemetry like WordPress version, PHP version, and connectivity status.
What are safety gates?
Safety gates are pre-install checks the connector runs before any plugin file is written to your site. It verifies the plugin is compatible with your WordPress and PHP versions, and confirms the file passed VirusTotal multi-engine scanning. Files flagged as malicious are blocked, and incompatible installs are stopped with a clear explanation instead of a broken site.
How does version rollback work?
Every plugin in the Zeebrar catalog keeps its version history. If an update causes problems, pick any previous version from the dashboard or from the connector's Installed screen and the connector swaps it in through its site guard: backup of the current folder, install, health ping, automatic restore if the site answers with a server error. Rolling back to a version you already paid for is free, and a reversed install refunds its credits.
Does the connector slow down my site?
No. The connector is idle until your dashboard sends it a command or WordPress runs its update check, whose answer the connector caches for 12 hours. It adds no frontend code, no scripts, and no styles to your pages. Sharing WordPress and PHP versions with your dashboard is a switch you control under GPLC Connector > Diagnostics.
What access does the connector have to my site?
The connector communicates over authenticated requests tied to your license key, scoped to plugin management and site health reporting. You can disconnect a site or revoke access at any time from your dashboard, and the connector plugin can simply be deactivated like any other WordPress plugin.
Is the connector really free?
Yes. The connector plugin and remote site management are included with every Zeebrar subscription at no extra charge. Unlike most management tools, there are no per-site fees.

One plugin. Every site under control.

The connector is free with every plan - install it on as many sites as your plan allows.
