Install the Target Version

Click install on the target version. Compatibility and threat checks run first, then the connector backs up the current plugin folder, installs the older version, health-checks the site and restores the backup if the check fails. Rolling back to a version you already paid for costs nothing.

Common questions

Will reverting to an older version break my site?
Before every version install, Zeebrar checks the target version's VirusTotal verdict and blocks a version flagged as malicious, and WordPress itself refuses a version that needs a newer WordPress or PHP than your site runs. Either way the install stops and you are not charged for it. If the newer version made database changes, those changes remain but the older plugin code will still function. We recommend testing on a staging site first when reverting after major updates.
How far back can I go?
As far as the version history goes. Zeebrar stores every version it has ever synced for each plugin. For popular plugins, that can mean dozens of versions spanning years of releases.
Do previous-version installs use my credits?
Rolling back to a version you already paid for on that site is free on every plan. Installing a version you have not paid for on that site costs the plugin's normal credit price, and if the install fails for any reason - compatibility issue, site unreachable, file missing - the credits are refunded automatically.
Can I roll back a plugin across multiple sites at once?
Rollback is per site: open the site in your dashboard, pick the plugin and the target version. Bulk install and bulk update across all your sites exist on the Pro and Agency plans (see Bulk Plugin Updates), but a bulk rollback is deliberately not offered, because each site may need a different target version.
What protects the site during a rollback?
The GPLC Connector runs every rollback through its site guard: it copies the current plugin folder to a backup, installs the target version, then sends the site a health ping and treats a server error as a failure. If the health check fails, the backup is restored automatically and the activity feed in your dashboard records which mechanism rolled the site back.
What if I need a version that is not in the catalog?
Zeebrar refreshes the catalog every 6 hours. If a version was released after the last refresh, it appears within a few hours. If a version was removed by the developer before Zeebrar ever synced it, it will not be available. This is rare for well-known plugins.
