Safe Version Management

Install any previous plugin version with compatibility + health checks. Auto-refund on failure.

When a plugin update goes wrong

You click "Update" and your site breaks. Maybe it is a white screen. Maybe a critical feature stops working. Maybe the checkout page throws errors and you are losing sales every minute the problem persists.

WordPress has no built-in rollback. Your options are not great: dig through your file manager looking for an old zip, FTP into your server and replace files manually, or restore a full site backup and lose every other change you made since the last backup ran.

Zeebrar keeps every version of every plugin in the catalog. When an update causes problems, you pick the version that was working and install it from your dashboard. Before any install, compatibility and site-health checks run automatically - if something would break, the install is blocked and your credits are refunded.

How It Works

Three steps to undo a bad update

Step 01

Open the Plugin on Your Dashboard

Find the plugin in your Zeebrar dashboard. Every plugin page shows the complete version history alongside the current installed version on each of your connected sites.

Step 02

Select the Version You Want

Browse the full version list and pick the one you need. Each version shows its release date and changelog so you know exactly what you are reverting to.

Step 03

Install the Target Version

Click install on the target version. Compatibility, site-health, and threat checks run automatically - credits refund if the install fails. No FTP, no server access, no risk of a broken site.

Benefits

Rollback without the headaches

Every Version Stored

Over 12,000 plugin versions in the catalog. Even when plugin developers remove older versions from their own sites, Zeebrar keeps them available.

Credits Refund on Failure

Every version install runs compatibility and health checks first. If the install fails, the credits you spent are refunded automatically.

Works Remotely via Connector

Install any previous version on any connected site from your dashboard. No FTP, no SSH, no downloading zip files and uploading them manually.

No Server Access Needed

The GPLC Connector handles the version swap through the WordPress plugin API. You do not need cPanel, file manager, or any server-level tools.

FAQ

Common questions

Will reverting to an older version break my site?
Before every version install, Zeebrar runs compatibility checks against your site's WordPress, PHP, and (when relevant) WooCommerce versions, plus a threat-level check on the target plugin version. If any check fails, the install is blocked and your credits are refunded. If the newer version made database changes, those changes remain but the older plugin code will still function. We recommend testing on a staging site first when reverting after major updates.
How far back can I go?
As far as the version history goes. Zeebrar stores every version it has ever synced for each plugin. For popular plugins, that can mean dozens of versions spanning years of releases.
Do previous-version installs use my credits?
Installing any version uses the same credits as installing the current version. If the install fails for any reason - compatibility issue, site unreachable, file missing - the credits are refunded automatically.
Can I install a previous version across multiple sites at once?
Currently, installs are performed per-site from the plugin detail page on your dashboard. You select the site and the target version, then install. Bulk multi-site operations are on our roadmap.
What if I need a version that is not in the catalog?
Zeebrar syncs plugin versions from source repositories regularly. If a version was released after our last sync, it will appear within a few hours. If a version was removed by the developer before we ever synced it, we will not have it. This is rare for well-known plugins.
